[:de]Chagall-Malevich wird auf dem 15. alljährlichen New Jersey Jewish Film Festival gezeigt.

“Die 15. alljährlichen New Jersey Jewish Film Festival (NJJFF),moderiert von JCC Metrowest in West Orange finden vom 15. bis zum 29. März statt. In diesem Jahr werden 23 neue Filme aus 6 verschiedenen Ländern ausgestrahlt. Aus dieser Auswahl werden 12 zur Premiere in New Jersey anlaufen.

“Jedes Jahr, präsentieren wir der Community umjubelte Filme mit einer jüdischen Note sagte Joni Cohen, Vorsitzender von NJJFF. “Diese Auswahl an fantastischen Filmen, von Academy Award gekrönten Regisseuren und neuen, aufstrebenden Stars bieten uns Einsicht in die verschiedenste jüdischen Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse, welche uns auf der ganzen Welt verbinden.”
Das Festival startet am Sonntag den 15. März um 19:30 Uhr im Maurice Levin Theatre, JCC MetroWest mit der US-Premiere of Chagall-Malevich. Dieses Drama zeigt die schwierige Beziehung zwischen zwei künstlerischen Genies während den Wirren der Oktober Revolution in Russland. Zudem beinhaltet der Film viele Meisterwerke der Künstler.”

“The 15th Annual New Jersey Jewish Film Festival (NJJFF) hosted by JCC Metrowest in West Orange will take place from March 15 to March 29. This year’s festival will feature a total of 23 new films from six countries, including 12 New Jersey premieres.
“Each year, we bring the community new, highly-acclaimed films with a Jewish twist,” said Joni Cohen, Chair of the NJJFF. “These fantastic films, by Academy-award winning filmmakers and new rising stars, offer us insight into the rich diversity of global Jewish experience and the common bonds that tie us together.”

The festival opens Sunday, March 15 at 7:30 pm at the Maurice Levin Theatre, JCC MetroWest with the northeast US premiere of Chagall-Malevich. The period drama is about the uneasy relationship between two artistic geniuses as the October revolution sweeps across Russia, and includes many works by both artists.”
